Overview

My client is a leading distribution company specialising in Rainscreen and Sub-frame products. With a reputation for quality and innovation, they are seeking a Commercial and Technical Support Manager to join their successful team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company’s growth and development while working closely with the Managing Director.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to prepare accurate costings and estimates for project quotations.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gather necessary information for project bids.
  • Provide technical insights and product specifications to support the quotation process.
  • Address technical queries from architects and contractors regarding product application and installation.
  • Manage project administration, including issuing Purchase Orders, coordinating with suppliers, and approving invoices.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3-5 yrs relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Proven expertise in pricing and estimating projects.
  • Strong project administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of logistics and delivery processes to site.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and driving project delivery.
